Lori Tanner moved to Los Angeles in 1983 to work with Entertainment Business Management firms. She worked with writers, directors, actors and was fortunate to learn from some of the most successful film and television producers. Lori’s Financial Management work has been highlighted in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, USA Today and more. In 2017 Lori created Dow Jazz Films an award winning independent film and television production company. Lori’s focus is on multicultural storyline projects using inclusive, diverse cast and crew with equal pay for equal work. The adaptation of the novel Love by Drowning is Lori’s first project, released in theaters November 2020 and now streaming. Lori’s second project is the award winning Senior Love Triangle released streaming in August 2020. Lori’s third project is the award winning Dustwun, released streaming June 2020. Lori’s fourth project is Domino: Battle of the Bones, released in theaters June 2021 and now streaming. Lori bought the option to Living Dangerously the nonfiction WWII autobiography by Betty Farley in August 2018. Dogs For Defense is Lori’s newest original story. Dow Jazz Films continues to look for new stories to adapt into Film or Television.
